Norm Cooper, among his many other talents, is a devotee of Japanese art. I’ve seen his work, and it’s amazing.
Well, Norm recently painted a fantastic painting of a bald eagle to celebrate the greatness of the United States. I had the pleasure and privilege of seeing a reproduction of the print while we shared some time together in Tokyo, and I admired it immensely. As it turns out, so does this American.
The original of the painting is now hanging in the White House, and Norm told me that he received an appropriately grateful notice from the President. I wanted to congratulate him on this honor and tell him again how much I admire his painting skills.
