Chicago and several surrounding communities have city ordinances requiring condemned property be inspected by a license PMP prior to demolishion so they can treat if necessary and then provide a written all clear for pests. A building cannot be torn down without the PMP documentation.

The only thing I ask is that if you stay in the industry that you stay in touch (and let me know which of the jobs you’ve been offered you take — they’re all top-notch companies run by top-notch people. I hope you stay in the industry and that I get a chance to one day shake your hand in person.
